Money back on your first paid month

Cancel within thirty days of your first paid month and we refund it. No questions, no forms. The guarantee covers every subscription, whether or not it began with a trial. A trial and the guarantee are separate things: fourteen days on the product before any charge, then thirty days after the first charge in which you can ask for it back. Email support@abtestly.com with the account email you signed up under. We approve and submit the refund the same business day. When the money lands is up to your bank or card issuer, which is usually five to ten business days after we submit it. Paddle, our merchant of record, emails you a confirmation the moment the refund is issued.

Your statutory rights

Our thirty-day guarantee is something we offer on top of your legal rights, never instead of them. Depending on where you live you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase. Paddle is our merchant of record, so Paddle’s own Refund Policy governs the transaction, and it states that where local law or a supplier gives you additional or non-waivable rights, the highest level of rights always applies. One point is easy to miss and worth stating plainly: where a subscription includes a free trial, the withdrawal period runs from the end of the trial, not from signup. So the statutory clock on a trial subscription starts later than you might expect, and it runs alongside our own guarantee rather than in place of it. If you think you are entitled to a refund, email support@abtestly.com and we will look at it. Nothing on this page removes a right the law gives you.

Cancel any time

  • Billing → Cancel subscription.
  • Your plan reverts to Free at the end of the current billing period.
  • No auto-renewal after that.
Between clicking Cancel and the period end, your plan works as normal, no rush to move off.

Downgrading does not delete data

Whatever you have on a paid plan stays when you downgrade or cancel:
  • Every site.
  • Every experiment, running or archived.
  • Every goal, location, audience.
  • Every event in the ledger.
What changes. The Free limits (1 site, 1 active experiment, 3,000 MTU) become the ceiling on what you can start, not a knife through what you already have. Nothing is frozen, archived, made read only, or switched off, and you are never asked to pick which site or experiment survives. Concretely, if you cancel while running four experiments across three sites:
  • All three sites keep serving. The snippet keeps loading, the config keeps publishing, and you can still edit every one of them.
  • All four experiments keep running and keep collecting. A running test is never stopped by a plan change, so a downgrade cannot ruin a result you are halfway through.
  • New enrollment stops at 3,000 MTU for the month. Visitors already in a test keep their variant; visitors arriving after the cap see your site as published. Same behavior as any other MTU limit.
  • You cannot add a fourth site or start a fifth experiment until you are back under the Free limits or on a paid plan again. The limit is checked when you create or start something, never afterwards.
Features above your new plan behave the same way: an experiment already running on the Sequential engine finishes on it, because the engine locks at start. You just cannot pick it for a new one. Accounts created on or after 5 September 2026. The Free tier closed to new signups on that date, so an account created on or after it is not entitled to it and the ceiling is lower: you cannot create a new experiment at all until you are on a paid plan or a trial again. Only creation is affected. Your sites keep serving, every running experiment keeps running and keeps collecting, publishing works, and nothing is deleted or switched off. Reactivating

One click. From the same account, go to Billing and pick a paid plan. The ceiling lifts; you can immediately start experiments, add sites, and take on MTU up to your new cap. If your account was archived (see below), reactivating unarchives at the same time.

Archival after 90 days of inactivity

Accounts that have not been logged into for 90 days after cancelling get archived. Housekeeping, nothing is deleted.
  • Account and all its data are preserved.
  • Logging in unarchives automatically.
  • Emails to the account address still work.

The one thing that does get deleted

24-month raw event retention. The event-level archive behind the ledger is purged nightly once it passes 24 months, matching the commitment in the privacy policy. This is unaffected by your plan or subscription state, it is a data-retention policy, not a billing lever. The ledger records your results are computed from survive the purge and stay on the results page for the life of the experiment. Only the raw event archive is aged out. If you need raw events for longer than 24 months, run the async export inside the window and keep the CSV in your own storage.
